MSTI Toolkit

The Mathematics and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) Toolkit provides an integrated set of resources for recruiting and supporting science and mathematics teachers in California. Sponsored by the Mathematics and Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI) of the California State University System Chancellor’s Office, the toolkit includes resources from the 22 CSU campuses that prepare teachers in these fields.

The MSTI Toolkit is easy to navigate in just a few easy steps. Start by clicking on the + to expand any of the folders in the left-side navigation. Then click on a subfolder to see the resources categorized in that area. Some resources are actual Websites; others may be downloaded for your use and revision.

The Toolkit is designed to enable you to adapt the materials for your own use. The resources are in formats that can be readily modified so that programs and campuses can make use of the materials for their own recruitment efforts. We encourage you to take advantage of this design and to use any of the resources would be useful to you.

We wish to thank all of the CSU campuses for their generous contributions to the MSTI Toolkit. If you would like to contribute other recruitment resources to the Toolkit, the new materials will be welcome additions. Please contact Victoria Costa, Director of Science Education, email: vcosta@fullerton.edu, phone: 714-278-2307.
