Master of Arts in Special Education

The Master of Arts in Special Education degree offers advanced preparation in mild/moderate disabilities and moderate/severe disabilities. Graduates gain knowledge in educational, psychological, and political issues that arise when developing collaborative relationships with families, general educators, and other professionals. Graduates also gain knowledge in the development of materials, strategies, and skills to work with families, including the culturally and linguistically diverse.
