Collaborative Works/Projects (with public schools, community agencies, etc.)
Through the CSU Transportation Research and Workforce Development (SB 1) grant and the Fresno State Transportation Institute grant I collaborated with local and regional schools to create an authentic civic experience and leverage the expertise and resources of the Fresno State Transportation Institute to bring high quality educational experience to underserved students and help them improve their communities.
Similarly, through the Democracy Schools Program grant I collaborated with local organizations and schools to create opportunities for youth to feel empowered in addressing issues in their communities.
Collegial Works/Projects (i.e., grants, articles, conference presentations, etc.)
As evident in my grants, publications, and presentations I have collaborated with many faculty within Kremen to continuously improve our teacher education programs and support local schools in designing innovative learning experiences for their students. I have also collaborated with colleagues across campus through the Urban Civic Education Minor program and as the University Service-Learning Faculty Scholar.
