MADERA TEACHER RESIDENCY PROGRAM
University Coaching Updates:
Please join us in welcoming our new university coach, Mrs. Yolanda Lucero. Mrs. Lucero brings to the MTRP 38 years of experience as an educator, including over a decade of experience as a teacher in a dual language immersion setting, knowledge from her leadership role in the California Association for Bilingual Educators (CABE), and her deep involvement in Madera both as an educator and resident. She, along with Dr. Herrera, will be coaching our residents this semester. This work will include six formal observations, as well as some informal observations, throughout the semester. The observations will be synchronous and/or asynchronous (from pre-recorded lessons) with the purpose of providing ongoing constructive feedback to our residents on their instruction.
