4. Teacher Candidate Commitment
5. Personal Narrative
6. Medical Clearance Form
7. Pre-program Field Experience
8. University Application
9. Basic Skills Requirement (CBEST)
10. Subject Matter Proficiency (CSET or Subject Matter Coursework)
11. Live Scan/Certificate of Clearance
12. Mandatory Reporter Training
13. Prerequisite Coursework Completed

Program Description:

• SS Credential allows holder to teach the specific subject in most middle schools, high schools, some k-12 or adult classes.
• Student teaching follows school district calendar.
• 34 units
• 2-3 semesters
• Sequenced so that each semester can be successfully completed to start the next
