NASA Aerospace Academy
Fresno State is one of nine institutions nationwide, funded by NASA, to implement an Aerospace Academy. A major purpose of the Academy is to increase interest and involvement of K-12 students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The program offers 36 hours of STEM engagement, using NASA-themed, problem-based curriculum. The family involvement component include family nights and take-home projects to promote collaboration between students and family members.

Program opportunities are provided through partnerships with the California Teaching Fellows Foundation, Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, Foster Youth, local school districts and community-based organizations to give students the confidence to succeed in school and develop skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
