Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership

Curriculum

Online and Face-to-Face cohorts take the same course of study within the 3 years in the program. 

General Curriculum Overview

The 60 unit program is designed to be completed in 3 years of full-time study alongside full-time employment. 

Core Courses

Students take core courses (27 units) in semester 1 through 4 in the program.

Qualifying Exam and Specialization Courses

Students take the qualifying exam and advance to candidacy in semester 5. Students take specialization courses (21 units) in semester 5 through 8.

Dissertation

Dissertation work (12 units) begins in semester 6 and is completed in semester 8.
