Dr. Song Lee is the Associate Dean for the Kremen School of Education and Human Development. She is a proud alumna of Fresno State and has been with Fresno State since 2006 as a professor. She is also an alumna of UC Davis for her bachelor’s degree and North Carolina State University for her doctorate degree. Before being promoted to Associate Dean, she was a full professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Rehabilitation (CER) at Fresno State and a Licensed Marriage, Family, and Child Therapist with experience in counseling children, family, and couples. She has served as Department Chair, program coordinator and internship coordinator for two different counseling programs, and President of the Kremen Faculty Assembly. She has worked with local agencies and organizations on issues relating to mental health and the Hmong community. Most of her work with the community has been pro bono and focused on the needs of the community. She founded and currently serves as a consultant for the Freedom Community Church Wellness Program to educate and support the Hmong community in wellness. She champions the success of all individuals in education, well-being, and personal endeavors.
Song Lee has provided mental health services, consultation services, and research in the field of Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling.  Her focus is on multicultural counseling, the Hmong community, and social emotional well-being of immigrant/refugee families and children.
