Areas of Need

The continued success of the Kremen School of Education and Human Development at Fresno State is built upon significant private investment. Whether you choose to support students directly, or any of our programs, your gift makes a difference!

Fresno Family Counseling Center

The Fresno Family Counseling Center provides a variety of affordable, high-quality counseling services to residents of Fresno County and the surrounding area while providing hands-on training to graduate students enrolled in the M.S. in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling program.

Student Equity Scholar Award Program

The Kremen Equity Scholars are four students at undergraduate, credential, Master's and Doctoral levels who receive tuition support up to $7,000 to integrate equity and social justice into their studies or research and engage in community service or partnership outreach each academic year.

Teacher Residencies Programs

Teacher residencies make a difference in teacher preparation through intensive preservice preparation where residents become members of the school community on day-one and contribute to the community throughout their teacher preparation.

SECREd Gardens

The Kremen SECREd Gardens and outdoor classroom space, soon to be located at Fresno State, will address healthy eating habits, play-based learning, early science experiences, teacher training and community food scarcity issues. Help us get this transformative garden built.

South Valley Integrated Teacher Education Program

South Valley ITEP students can become teachers in just four-years at the Fresno State Visalia campus and not have to travel over an hour to Fresno County. Your support allows students to return to their own communities and serve as educators for the next generation.

Joyce M. Huggins Early Education Center

The Huggins Center (located in the Kremen Education Building) is a regional model for best practices in early childhood education through providing services for children of university students, faculty, staff and to the community between the ages of 3 months and 12 years.

Teachers and Friends of Education Honor Wall

Celebrate and acknowledge the invaluable impact of an educator through the gift of an engraved brick on the Teachers and Friends of Education Honor Wall. Proceeds benefit students entering the field of education.Order a brick

Wayfinders

Wayfinders is a 2-year non-degree independent living certificate program for young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to increase their independence by living in student apartments, participating in work experience internships, taking classes and engaging with the community.
