Dr. Rohit Mehta (he/him/his) is an Assistant Professor of Secondary Curriculum with
Instructional Technology in the Department of Curriculum & Instruction at Fresno State
University. Dr. Mehta teaches in the Single Subject Credential program, Curriculum
and Instruction, and Educational Leadership. His research interests are positioned
on the intersections of pedagogy, literacies, creativity, technology, and coloniality.
As an educator, Dr. Mehta wants to help teachers foster creativity through teaching
and learning practices that are liberatory of multiple ways of being, knowing, and
doing. His collaborations have been published in academic journals like Thinking Skills
and Creativity, Tech Trends, Journal of Technology and Teacher Education (JTATE),
Journal of Digital Learning in Teacher Education (JDLTE), and Journal of Media Literacy
