Psychological Foundations of Education: Adolescent Learning

Dr. Jennifer Moradian Watson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership. As a valley educator, she spent 25 years as a teacher and administrator in multiple central valley school districts. School and district experiences include work at multiple elementary, middle, and high school campuses, as well as two district offices. Dr. Watson has taught middle and high school and has had extensive administrative experience at four high schools. Dr. Watson concluded her P-12 career as an elementary principal. Dr. Watson has taught at the university for the past eight years in teacher and administrator preparation as well as doctoral preparation for educational leaders in P-12 and higher education. Currently, Dr. Watson is a reviewer for 4 journals, she is a Board Member for the California Association of Professors in Education Administration, and is a member of multiple entities focused on educational research, educator preparation, and open inquiry. While working at Fresno State, Dr. Watson has been recognized for Fresno State’s Outstanding Faculty Publications Award for Educational Leadership (P12) and as dissertation chair her student earned the Carnegie Foundation on the Educational Doctorate Dissertation in Practice of the year in 2019.
