Dr. Hyeri Hong is an Assistant Professor of Research and Statistics in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction and a core faculty member in Educational Leadership Doctoral program at California State University, Fresno. Additionally, she serves as a co-chair of AERA Division D’s Section 1 (Measurement, Psychometrics, and Assessment). She is collaborating with scholars on a variety of equity-driven projects, including "empowering Latinx parents of children with disabilities," "evaluating the impact of Steve’s Scholars program on underrepresented students," "assessing self-efficacy and well-being of first-generation college students," "examining the impact of extracurricular activities on maltreated teens," and "promoting equity in statistics education," etc.  In addition to serving as an external evaluator for the Project Access grant, she has secured around $115,000 in internal and external funding as a principal investigator or co-principal investigator for a number of applied research projects.
