Welcome Fall 2025 Admit

Congratulations on your admission to the Multiple Subject or Dual Credential Program!

We're thrilled to have you on board. As you prepare for the upcoming semester, please take a moment to review the following tasks and important dates to ensure you’re all set. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to contact your program coordinator.

# Task Description Date
1 Attend a Multiple Subject Registration Orientation

The Multiple Subject Registration Orientation is mandatory for newly admitted teacher candidates and must be attended before candidates can register for their courses.

The program will email details once an official date is available.

2 Register for the Teacher Education Induction Ceremony & Orientation

The Fall 2025 orientation is mandatory for teacher candidates (not required for teacher residents) enrolling in their first clinical practice course (EHD 178). This day will include critical information about the Teacher Education Program, the Education Specialist Credential Program, clinical practice experiences, and the Fresno Assessment of Student Teachers (FAST). If you're not enrolling in a clinical practice course this semester, please wait to attend the orientation until the semester you plan to enroll.

3 Complete the Clinical Practice Application

The Office of Clinical Practice (OCP) coordinates placements and assigns university coaches. To communicate your placement preferences, please complete the clinical practice application by the priority deadline date (teacher candidates in the Ag program do not need to complete this application). This also helps OCP identify coach hiring needs for the upcoming semester. After submission, your name will be added to the OCP placement sheet.

  • Candidates are strictly prohibited from making their own school site placements.
  • Residents do not need to submit this application
  • Students who do not submit their placement application on time will be placed by availability rather than preference

The program will email course registration codes to teacher candidates.

Candidates must register for their clinical practice course at least two weeks prior to the start of the semester.

5 Purchase Tk20

Teacher Candidates are required to purchase their Tk20 account prior to the start of the semester of their first clinical practice (EHD 155A) course. A Tk20 account is approximately $110.00+ sales tax (calculated based on the ZIP code entered for the billing address).
