Early Childhood Education Credential Option

The only Multiple Subject Credential option that will allow you to teach TK (Transitional Kindergarten) - Grade 8. 

The Early Childhood Education Specialized Option is housed in our Central Unified Partnership. 

An emphasis in Early Childhood Education prepares elementary teachers with special expertise and experience in grades TK - 2. This nationally accredited Early Childhood cohort program emphasizes a developmental knowledge base, professional ethics, and integrated curriculum, and provides field experiences at the preschool, kindergarten, primary, and upper elementary levels. This program is compatible with the Dual, Bilingual Authorization, Blended/Integrated, and Internship programs.

The ONLY nationally accredited Early Childhood Education credential program in the state of California, recognized by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
