The Kremen School fosters campus-wide, regional, state and national partnerships to further our mission and serve our community.
Collaboration is essential to the mission of the Kremen School of Education and Human Development. We pride ourselves on offering a variety of centers and special projects for our students to utilize while they study and prepare for their future.
Our centers provide a variety of services and assistance to the community. Thus creating partnerships and collaboration with school districts, diversified community members and the educational community.
Our faculty participate in many partnerships where they join other education professionals to meet the needs of students in the community. These special projects provide leadership and research-based information, training, and technology throughout the valley.
Bonner Center for Character Education and Citizenship
Character education resources to support educators throughout the Central Valley who provide wholesome environments for children.
California Reading and Literature Project
Statewide professional development network forming the California Subject Matter Projects.
Center for Advising and Student Services
Promotes student achievement and success through proactive advising, analyzing and processing local, state, and federal documents.
Central California World Language Project
The CCWLP strives to provide high quality, content-rich professional learning opportunities for K-16 world languages and dual immersion educators.
Enseñamos en el Valle Central
Enseñamos Initiative prepares Latinx teachers who can serve students in bilingual classrooms in the Central Valley. Fresno State is collaborating with its two largest feeder community colleges—Fresno City College and Reedley College.
Fresno Family Counseling Center
Nationally recognized and committed to addressing the mental health needs of Fresno County. Provides low-cost counseling services for people of all ages.
John D. Welty Center for Ed Policy and Leadership
The Welty Center brings the best leadership practices to all aspects of the education system in the San Joaquin Valley in order to eliminate the achievement gap and raise the performance of all learners.
Joyce M. Huggins Early Childhood Education Center
One of three early childhood centers at Fresno State located in the Kremen Education Building.
Mini-Corps
Recruits students knowledgeable about the migrant lifestyle and prepares them to assist classroom teachers in providing instructional services to migrant children who have a priority for services.
Research Center
Founded in 2024, the Kremen Research Center is the unified source for key resources and guidance for researchers within Kremen and our larger community.
San Joaquin Valley Writing Project
Dedicated to improving the quality of writing instruction in grades K-college in Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera and Mariposa counties.
SECREd Garden
The SECREd Garden is an outdoor demonstration garden that will support the growing need for play-based outdoor learning, science experiences, and garden-based education while also providing a space for interdisciplinary research.
Teacher and Friends of Education Honor Wall
Honor an educator with a timeless gift of a commemorative brick on the Teachers and Friends of Education Honor Wall at Fresno State. Donations directly support funding student technology.
Wayfinders
An inclusive postsecondary independent living program with vocational, campus and community inclusion for students with intellectual disabilities ages 18 – 28 years.
Workability IV
An employment agency designed to assist individuals with disabilities through enhanced career services.
