Reagan Elementary - Sanger Teacher Residency Program

Kerman Professional Development Center - Rural Teacher Residency Partnership
A professional development center with dry erase boards, smart boards, and multiple screens in a centrally located rural area where all rural residents can easily access. Set up as a home room for the residents to provide a space of calm that models healing centered classroom environments (demonstration space). Residents do not take courses on Fresno State’s campus.

Tk20
Tk20 is Fresno State’s digital portfolio for clinical practice where student teachers log their clinical hours, submit their assignments for initial and student teaching and receive feedback from their coaches in the Field Experience Binder, and Submit their Site Visitation PRoject and Teaching Sample Projects for the Fresno Assessment of Student Teaching (FAST) in the Portfolio Binder.

CalFresh
The Multiple Subject Credential Program has an approved exemption from the student eligibility rule so that our students can receive $250/month for groceries due to the fact that they cannot work full time due to the clinical hours requirement of the program.
Kremen Instructional Technology Center (INTERESC)
The Center provides support to faculty and credential students in the utilization and integration of technology in the curriculum. The Center staff provide assistance in design of instructional materials, but not limited to:
- Video, multimedia, and Internet-based programs such as streaming video and video conferencing
- Consult with students, faculty, and staff in selecting computer hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment
- Manage KSOEHD computerized classrooms and laboratories
The Center also houses the NASA Educator Resource Center and offer NASA workshop for educators at no cost
Mathematics/Science Teacher Initiative (MSTI)
MSTI offers FREE online, interactive courses and workshops that review the subject matter content included on these exams. MSTI can reimburse CSET and credential application fees for Fresno State students. Credential students also receive financial support to attend science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education conferences. Students enrolled in a mathematics or science teaching methodology course can receive free membership in professional organizations such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics or the National Science Teachers Association.
Bonner Center
Character education resources to support educators throughout the Central Valley who provide wholesome environments for children. Credential students participate in the annual conference as a professional learning experience.
Central California World Language Project
The CCWLP strives to provide high quality, content-rich professional learning opportunities for K-16 world languages and dual immersion educators.
Ensenamos En El Valle Central
Enseñamos Initiative prepares Latinx teachers who can serve students in bilingual classrooms in the Central Valley. Fresno State is collaborating with its two largest feeder community colleges—Fresno City College and Reedley College. Enseñamos collaborates with faculty, K-12 educators, and community educators to provide credential students and the community professional learning experiences.
Mini Corps
Recruits students knowledgeable about the migrant lifestyle and prepares them to assist classroom teachers in providing instructional services to migrant children who have a priority for services.
San Joaquin Valley Writing Project
Dedicated to improving the quality of writing instruction in grades K-college in Fresno, Kings, Tulare, Madera, and Mariposa counties.
SecreD Gardens
The SECREd Garden is an outdoor demonstration garden that will support the growing need for play-based outdoor learning, science experiences, and garden-based education while also providing a space for interdisciplinary research.
Career Development Center
The purpose of the center is to educate, prepare and connect students for career and lifelong success. The Center offers resume writing workshops, career panels, and how to interview workshops for MS credential students. The Center also has a clothing closet where credential students can pick up professional clothing.
Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships
The purpose of this office is to help students navigate the financial aspects of their college experience. They assist credential students with their financial aid, grant, and scholarship questions and applications.
CARE Team
CARE Team is a collaborative effort to identify students who are facing significant personal struggles, in distress, or students of concern that may benefit from additional support or resources. By using a community approach to foster the well-being of every student, the Fresno State community can collectively build a strong and healthy environment. The CARE team supports faculty in better supporting credential students when there are concerns about their well-being.
Student Health and Counseling Center
The center encourages the maintenance of healthy lifestyles and provides affordable and accessible health and psychological care. During COVID-19 response the Center specifically provided free COCID-19 tests to our credential students when they experienced exposure during student teaching.
Learning Center
The Learning Center provides students tutoring resources, academic success workshops and supplemental instruction with peers.
Henry Madden Library Technology Lending
Credential students use the study rooms, research guides, computers, various technologies, and printing services. Kremen has its own librarian assigned to support our students. The Library also provides funding for educational research and practitioner journals as well as the Teaching Channel.
Arne Nixon Center for the Study of Children's Literature
The Arne Nixon Center for the Study of Children’s Literature is an internationally renowned research center in the Henry Madden Library at California State University Fresno. The Center is one of North America’s leading resources for the study of children’s and young adult literature. The growing collection of 70,000 books, periodicals, manuscripts, original art, and papers of authors and illustrators has an international and multicultural emphasis with a focus on diversity and inclusion. Its materials are available to anyone for use in the reading area.

The Arne Nixon staff assist credential students with exploring children’s literature, they host professional learning sessions with famous children’s literature authors, and engage in community projects such as murals.
Fresno State Student Cupboard
Credential students experiencing food insecurity can pick up free food and hygiene products from the Cupboard. Students are able to choose from a variety of perishable and non-perishable items to take home to cook. Hygiene packs are distributed the third Wednesday and Thursday of the month.
